Je vais écrire en Français car c'est plus facile pour moi! J'ai envie de parler de ce fantastique morceau de Trance qui m'a fait replonger dans l'addiction de la trance: This Moment de Nic Chagall, chanté par Jonathan Mendelsohn (à ne pas confondre avec Mendelssohn le grand compositeur).
J'ai découvert ce morceau en cherchant de la bonne trance sur Youtube, et je suis tombé sur un mix de Trance 2010. J'ai appris que ce morceau était arrivé 12e au Top 20 A State of Trance 2009! Et j'ai découvert d'autres chansons superbes dans le Top 20 ;)

J'aime beaucoup la progression de la tension tout au long de la chanson - c'est le cas de le dire vu que c'est un "Progressive Mix" -, même la partie du milieu qui ne fait pas tant "techno" que ça. Il y a 3 parties principales: la première introduit le couplet avec un fond techno standard. La deuxième arrive progressivement, en douceur avec le refrain, tout en montant en puissance, mais pas avec les bassdrum habituelles, mais avec combinaison bassdrum/snare (grosse caisse/caisse claire). Si vous êtes vraiment dans le morceau, vous pourrez sentir la nervosité, l'énergie en vous qui monte! Puis arrive la troisième partie qui commence en douceur avec une mélodie typiquement trance comme je les adore... Petite transition qui stagne sur une note et on part sur de la bonne trance jusqu'au bout!
Ce morceau est en Si majeur, bien qu'on hésite avec Sol# mineur vu que les accords tournent en continu sur le pattern:
E F#m G#m B
En plus, le morceau commence et finit sur l'accord de Mi, c'est à dire sur la sous-dominante (soit le 4e degré) de la gamme de Si majeur.
